These Terms & Conditions govern your use of datebox.co.uk (“Site”) and any purchases you make from the Site. The Site is operated by Gifting Sorted Limited (company no. 13716464), Unit 9, Waters Meeting, Britannia Way, Bolton, BL2 2HH (“we”, “us”).
Contact: hello@datebox.co.uk.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
When you place an order, you’ll receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms receipt, not acceptance.
A contract is formed when we dispatch your items and send a dispatch confirmation email.
We may refuse/cancel an order (e.g., unavailable product, pricing error, suspected fraud). Any payment taken will be refunded.
Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable.
Payment is taken at checkout via our selected providers. We don’t store full card details.
If there’s a pricing error, we’ll contact you to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
UK orders typically ship via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (unless you choose another service). Dispatch is usually within 2 working days of payment; Royal Mail’s delivery aim is ~2 working days after dispatch. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.
You’ll receive a dispatch email with tracking.
We ship to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please check it’s accurate. Once shipped, we can’t change the address; if a parcel returns due to an incorrect/incomplete address or non-collection, re-delivery postage is payable by you.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
We use Royal Mail international services or comparable partners. Timing varies by destination and customs processes; 12–16 working days is a common guide but can be longer.
Customs/import charges: You’re responsible for any local duties, taxes, handling or courier fees. We can’t predict or reimburse these.
For most non-personalised items bought online, you have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to cancel, then 14 days to return the items.
Our store policy also allows returns/exchanges within 20 days of receipt for unopened items in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
To cancel, email hello@datebox.co.uk with your order number and what you’re returning.
Refunds: once we receive the returned items (or acceptable proof of posting), we’ll refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
Return postage for non-faulty items is paid by you. We refund up to the cost of our basic delivery option, not premium shipping.

Use suitable packaging and a tracked/insured service. You’re responsible for the goods until we receive them. Damaged returns may not be refundable.
Email us first; we’ll process the return as above and ship the replacement once received (additional postage may apply).
Personalised or made-to-order items can’t be cancelled or returned unless faulty. Please check customisations carefully.
If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, email hello@datebox.co.uk with photos and your order number. You’re entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (repair, replacement or refund, as appropriate). We’ll provide a return label where appropriate.
If your order qualified for free shipping, the initial shipment is free. If the parcel is returned to us (e.g., incomplete address or non-collection), re-delivery costs are payable by you.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and can’t be added retrospectively. Offers may be changed or withdrawn at any time. One code per order unless stated.
We aren’t liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., postal strikes, adverse weather, customs delays). We’ll try to minimise any impact.
We don’t exclude liability where it would be unlawful (e.g., death/personal injury due to negligence, fraud). Otherwise our liability for loss arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
